Rich Media Banners
WARNING THESE FORMS OF BANNERS ARE ONLY FOR THOSE WITH
EXPERIENCE. IF YOU ARE UNSURE PLEASE CONSULT YOUR WEB DESIGNER OR
DEVELOPER FOR HELP.
Besides GIF and JPEG Banners, e-bannerx.com also accepts SWF and HTML Banners.
If all your Banners are standard GIF, animated GIF or JPEG Banners, then you may skip this Section as well as
the "Link Creation Regulations" Section.
It is very important to make sure that SWF and HTML Banners are constructed in a proper way and contain correct internal links. Follow the instructions below:
Creating and Adding Flash-Banners:
Click "Add Banner"
Set Banner type as SWF, Click "Add Banner" button
Remember Banner's ID (Banner ID is "nnn"-style digit which goes after "#" symbol).
Please write this down as you will need it for step 4 when you create your SWF
file.
All links in the Banner (.swf) should be specified according to Link Creation Regulations.
IMPORTANT: That is when you create your links for your banner in your
SWF file, they must be constructed as per our Link
Creation Regulations otherwise your banner will be rejected.
Create .swf file on your computer and upload it to your account (in "Construct the Banner" box use "Browse"
interface to select *.swf file and then Click "Upload")
After uploading the Banner make sure it looks as you expected
Activate the Banner
Creating and Adding HTML-Banner:
Construct your HTML Banner on your computer (it may contain text, images, etc.)
Click "Add Banner"
Set Banner type as HTML and Click "Add Banner"
Remember Banner's ID (Banner ID is "nnn"-style digit which goes after "#" symbol)
All links in the Banner should be specified according to Link Creation Regulations
Upload created *.html file to your account (in "Construct the Banner" box use "Browse" interface to select *.html file and then Click "Upload")
Upload all Banner components (images, etc.) to the special storage at your account (in "Construct the Banner" box click "Add Banner's Components" )
After uploading the Banner and components make sure it looks as you expected
Activate the Banner
While creating HTML-Banner, remember that it should:
contain correct HTML-code, which must include:

</HTML>
correctly display in web browsers, which support <IFRAME> (at least Internet Explorer).
Do not forget to test LARGE FONT mode.
All links inside the Banner should comply with Link Creation Regulations
For example:

- this link will lead to target URL indicated in Banner #99 settings.

- this form will lead to http://site.by/cgi-bin/my.cgi with all accompanying parameters except for Banner and URL.
All static components of the Banner (images, etc.) should be stored in a special storage ("HTML-Banner Components"). Their total size should not exceed 20 Kb. Access to static elements is provided via
/banners/{banner ID}/{element's name}
